How to Connect Your Remote to Your Garage Opener

Do you need to know how to connect your garage remote to the opener of your door? This is a simple process that you can do on your own! 

If you have a wall button that does not have a screen, but instead a cover, lift the cover to reveal two buttons. Press the button that is labeled remote twice. Then, press the button on the remote you want to pair. The opener will flash once indicating that the remote has been paired. 

If your wall button has a screen, you can press a series of buttons to follow the onscreen instructions. First, press “menu”. Then, go down to “program”. Click next. Then, go down to “remote”. Click next. Then, follow the onscreen instructions to pair the remote to the opener.
